We decided to Airbnb the in-law apartment in our primary residence. Since we lived in the building, we knew we wanted to be the hosts. But as first time STR hosts, we didn't know how to set up the perfect unit. This is where Orange Door and Justin saved the day!
We started with the initial 30-minute consultation. The meeting was so helpful, we made a list of questions and scheduled two separate follow up calls. Justin gave us excellent insight across every topic we could think of: decor, staging, what amenities to provide, how to optimize our listing, safety and security concerns. He gave great advice on how to maximize revenue, but also attract responsible guests. This really helped us get over our concerns of doing this in our home.
With Justin's help, we were able to avoid the pitfalls that we would have experienced had we not engaged with an expert. We made it to "Super Host" level in less than 2 months. The income the unit is bringing in pays for almost half of our mortgage. It was worth every penny. Highly recommend it!
